Ultraviolet Week is Sigma Kappa's most exciting philanthropic event of the year. All fraternity and sororities, along with other campus organizations are invited to participate in a week full of fun activities. Our week long consists of various activities such as a Campuswide event hosted in the Sigma Kappa house by the lovely ladies of the chapter and other games played at our booth which lead to our main event - DoveBowl, where fraternities play a flag football game and one chapter is name the winner. All the proceeds from these events are donated to the Sigma Kappa Foundation which is then distributed to our other philanthropies: Inherit the Earth, Main Sea Coast Mission, Gerontology and Alzeihmer's.
INHERIT THE EARTH
Every quarter, our VP of Philanthropic Services plans a Day of Service where the Sigma Kappa ladies go to volunteer with non-profit organizations. For winter '18 our VPPS planned a day of serve to give back to the community and fulfill one of our values: service. We volunteered at the Coastkeeper Garden in Orange County where they promote a unique and sustainable garden for drought-tolerant plants and aligns with our philanthropy of Inherit the Earth.
